The TPS3890 is a low quiescent current precision voltage supervisor that monitors system voltages down to 1.15V, with an open-drain RESET signal when the SENSE voltage drops below a preset threshold or the manual reset (MR) pin falls to logic low It is valid when the level is set. The RESET output remains low for a user-adjustable delay time, provided the SENSE voltage and manual reset (MR) return above the respective thresholds. The TPS3890 family uses precision voltages to achieve 1% threshold accuracy. The reset delay time can be adjusted from 40μs to 30s by connecting the CT pin to an external capacitor. The TPS3890 features an ultra-low quiescent current of 2.1µA and is housed in a small 1.5mm × 1.5mm package, making the device ideal for battery-powered and space-constrained applications. The device is specified to operate from -40°C to +125°C (TJ).
