The TPL5110 is a low power timer with integrated MOSFET driver designed for duty cycle or power gating in battery powered applications. Consuming only 35nA, the TPL5110 can be used to support the power line and significantly reduce the total system standby current during sleep. This power-saving feature can significantly reduce the size of batteries used in energy harvesting or wireless sensor applications. The TPL5110 offers selectable timing intervals from 100ms to 7200s, suitable for power gating applications. In addition, the TPL5110 has a unique one-shot feature that allows the timer to power the MOSFET for only one cycle. The TPL5110 is available in a 6-pin SOT23 package.
