The TLV733 series is designed with a modern capless architecture, which ensures stable operation without the use of input or output capacitors. Removing the output capacitor helps reduce solution size and eliminates inrush current during startup. However, the TLV733 series is also stable with ceramic output capacitors. When using an output capacitor, the TLV733 also provides foldback current control during device power-up and enable. This feature is especially important for battery-operated devices.
The TLV733 provides an active pull-down circuit that quickly discharges the output load when disabled.
The TLV733 family is available in standard DBV (SOT-23) and DQN (X2SON) packages.
