The TLV61046A is a highly integrated boost converter designed for applications such as PMOLED panels, LCD bias supplies, and sensor modules. The TLV61046A integrates a 30V power switch, an input-to-output isolation switch, and a rectifier diode. The device converts an input voltage from one Li-Ion battery or two alkaline batteries (in series) to an output voltage of up to 28V.

The TLV61046A operates at a switching frequency of 1.0MHz. The device supports the use of small external components. By connecting the FB pin of the TLV61046A to the VIN pin, its default internal output voltage can be set to 12V. Therefore, only three external components are required to obtain a 12V output voltage. The switching current limit of the TLV61046A is typically 980mA. It has a built-in soft-start time of 7ms, which reduces inrush current. When the TLV61046A is in shutdown mode, an isolation switch disconnects the output from the input to minimize leakage current. The TLV61046A also features output short-circuit protection, output overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown.
