PTC thermistors are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages to prevent damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety purposes. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -55°C. A thermistor's operating temperature must not exceed 150°C for it to function. The thermistor consists of 2 pins. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 50V voltage. In order to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, the thermistor should have a maximum carrying capacity of 0.
