To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. As you can see, this thermistor has 2 pins. There should be a maximum capability for the thermistor to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 50V.
