In order to prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. These PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety protection. Temperature -55°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. This thermistor must not operate above 150°C in order for it to work. On this thermistor, there are 2 pins. The thermistor's maximum capability to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating should be 125mW.
