A 1206 (3216 Metric) package is used to protect PTC thermistors. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. The minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors should be set to -55°C. It is important that the operation temperature of this thermistor does not exceed 150°C. A thermistor has 2 pins. Ideally, the thermistor's maximum capability to transfer and conduct this power loss would be 125mW.
