To prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. In order to protect themselves from damage, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). PTC thermistors have 2 terminations. This thermistor has a total of 2 pins. As a result, PTC thermistors may supply 50V voltage at all times. The maximum power loss that the thermistor will be capable of transferring without overheating should be 125mW.
