TFPT1206L1001FM Overview
A 1206 (3216 Metric) package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -55°C. In order for this thermistor to operate properly, the operating temperature cannot exceed 125°C. The thermistor has a maximum of 2 pins. As a result, when the PTC thermistors are operating, they could supply a voltage of 50V. It should be possible for the thermistor to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 40V.
