For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2125 Metric) packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) as a safety measure. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. This thermistor has 2 pins. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 40V voltage. It is recommended that the thermistor's maximum power loss-transfer capability be set to 100mW in order to prevent overheating. Nominally, this thermistor can supply 40V voltage when it works. A PTC thermistor should produce an amount of heat equal to 100mW. The maximum voltage supplied by this thermistor should be 40V for reliable performance.
