To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. A safety protective package is included with these PTC thermistors. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -55°C. Ensure this thermistor is working at 150°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. This thermistor has 2 pins. Ideally, the thermistor should be able to handle and conduct this power loss without overheating. A thermistor in this range is nominally capable of supplying 40V voltage.
