For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages. To provide safety, these PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR). For PTC thermistors, -55°C is the minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 150°C. It is recommended that the thermistor's maximum power loss-transfer capability be set to 100mW in order to prevent overheating.
