TFPT0805L1000FV Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged as 0805 (2125 Metric) units to prevent damage. In order to ensure the safety of these PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Tape & Reel (TR). 2 terminations are present on the PTC thermistor. This thermistor has 2 pins. The PTC thermistors could supply 40V voltage when it operates. In order for the thermistor to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating, the maximum temperature should be 100mW. This thermistor can supply 40V nominally when in operation. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 100mW heat. If the thermistor is to provide reliable performance, the voltage should be 40V.
