SRP175L Overview
A Axial package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk to ensure safety. It is recommended to set the minimum operating temperature of the PTC thermistors at -40°C. The operating temperature of this thermistor must not exceed 85°C. A PTC thermistor has a termination of 2. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 15V voltage. In order to design PTC thermistors for 100A current, they must have a negative voltage. These thermistors are rated for 15V in a DC circuit. PTC thermistors produce 0.9W heat. In order to prevent overheating of PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 100A.
