SRP120F Overview
To prevent damage to the devices, PTC thermistors are packaged in Axial packages. Having a Bulk package ensures safety while using these PTC thermistors. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. The operating temperature of this thermistor must not exceed 85°C. A PTC thermistor has a termination of 2. PTC thermistors could operate at 15V voltages. The current for which the PTC thermistors have been designed is 100A. This type of thermistors has been rated for a voltage of 15V in the DC circuit. PTC thermistors should produce 1.2W heat. Ildeally, the current through PTC thermistors should be less than 100A.
