SPECIFICATIONS

Parameters
The SN6501 is a monolithic oscillator/power driver designed for small form factor, isolated power supplies in isolated interface applications. The device drives a low profile center-tapped transformer primary from a 3.3V or 5V direct current (DC) supply. The secondary of the transformer can provide any isolation voltage depending on the turns ratio of the transformer.

The SN6501 consists of an oscillator followed by a gate driver circuit that provides a compensated output signal to drive a ground referenced N-channel power switch. This internal logic circuit ensures break-before-sum operation between the two switches.

The SN6501 is available in a Small Small Outline Transistor (SOT)-23 (5) package and is rated to operate between –40°C to 125°C.
