SMD030F-2 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged in SMD/SMT packages to prevent damage. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel for safety reasons. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -40°C. There must be no temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to function. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. It is possible that PTC thermistors operate at 60V voltage. PTC thermistors are designed for 10A current. thermistors in the DC circuit are rated at 60V volts. It is recommended that PTC thermistors produce 1.7W heat. The current for PTC thermistors should not be higher than 10A. thermistors with 60V maximum voltages are used in DC circuits.
