Littelfuse SM712 Series TVS Diode Arrays (SPA® Diodes) are designed to protect RS-485 applications with asymmetric operating voltages (-7V to 12V) from electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients ( EFT) and lightning-induced inrush current hazards. It absorbs repetitive ESD discharges higher than the highest level specified by the IEC 61000-4-2 international standard without concern for performance degradation, and safely dissipates 19A 8/20µs waveform at very low clamping voltages Inrush current (IEC61000-4-5).
