RXEF185 Overview
In order to protect the PTC thermistors from damage, they are packaged in Radial packages. Packaged in the Bulk, these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. For PTC thermistors, the minimum operating temperature should be -40°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. A PTC thermistor could provide 72V voltage when operating. PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at 40A current. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 72V in the DC circuit. A PTC thermistor should produce 2.1W heat. PTC thermistors should not have a current greater than 40A.
