RXEF160 Overview
To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in Radial packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk for safety reasons. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. During operation, PTC thermistors could supply 72V voltage. The PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at a current of 40A. A DC circuit is comprised of these thermistors, which are rated for 72V. There should be 1.9W heat generated by the PTC thermistors. There's no need to exceed 40A current for PTC thermistors.
