RXEF040 Overview
It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in Radial packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk for safety reasons. The minimum operating temperature for the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C. It is necessary to keep the operating temperature of this thermistor below 85°C to ensure proper operation. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. PTC thermistors could operate at 72V voltages. PTCC thermistors have been designed for a current of 40A. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 72V in the DC circuit. The heat produced by PTC thermistors should be 560mW. For PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 40A.
