RXEF010 Overview
To protect the devices from damage, PTC thermistors are packaged in Radial packages. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Bulk as a safety measure. Temperature -40°C is the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. It is important that this thermistor does not operate at a temperature above 85°C. PTC thermistors have terminations of type 2. When used, the PTC thermistors could produce 60V voltage. For the PTC thermistors, the current requirement is 100mA. DC thermistors are rated for 60V volts in DC circuits. A PTC thermistor should produce 380mW heat. The current of PTC thermistors should not exceed 40A.
