RXEF005 Overview
It is recommended that the PTC thermistors be packaged in Radial packages to prevent damage to them. Packaged in the Bulk for safety, these PTC thermistors are designed to perform at high temperatures. It is advisable to set the PTC thermistors to -40°C as the minimum operating temperature. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. There are 2 terminations on the PTC thermistor. It is possible for the PTC thermistors to operate at a voltage of 60V. For PTC thermistors, 50mA is the current. A DC circuit uses 60V to rate these thermistors. Heat should be produced by PTC thermistors in the 260mW range. There should be no current over 40A for PTC thermistors.
