Keeping PTC thermistors in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages prevents them from being damaged. Packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR), these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. A minimum operating temperature of -55°C should be set for the PTC thermistors. This thermistor must not operate above 125°C in order for it to work. There should be no possibility of the thermistor overheating as a result of this power loss.
