To prevent damage to the PTC thermistors, they are packaged in 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. Packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR), these PTC thermistors are safe to handle. PTC thermistors have 2 terminations. In this thermistor, there are 2 pins. When operating, the PTC thermistors provide 50V voltage. The maximum power loss that the thermistor will be capable of transferring without overheating should be 125mW. These thermistors are rated for 50V in a DC circuit.
