Keeping PTC thermistors in 0805 (2012 Metric) packages prevents them from being damaged. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. To ensure that the PTC thermistors operate at the minimum temperature, set the temperature to -55°C. Ensure this thermistor is working at 125°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. The maximum capacity of a thermistor to transfer and conduct this power loss without overheating should be 100mW.
