It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in 0603 (1608 Metric) packages. The PTC thermistors are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) for safety reasons. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. A thermistor has 2 pins. When it works, this thermistor will provide a voltage of 32V. PTC thermistors are designed for 100μA current. If the DC circuit uses this thermistor, its voltage should not exceed 32V.
