It is important to protect PTC thermistors from damage by placing them in 0603 packages. Having a Cut Tape package ensures safety while using these PTC thermistors. Temperature -20°C should be set as the minimum operating temperature for PTC thermistors. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 160°C. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. A thermistor like this has 2 pins. A PTC thermistor could provide 32V voltage when operating. In theory, this thermistor can deliver 32V when it is in operation. The PTC thermistors are designed for a 100μA current.
