OP906 Overview


These photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk to protect them from damage. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Radial packages. When reverse-bias is applied continuously, the photodiodes are able to withstand only 60V voltage. Continuously, the reverse-bias voltage should not exceed 60V for the photodiodes. Photodiodes have a pin count of 2. It is possible for the photodiodes within a circuit to release 100mW heat. A photodiode should not operate at a temperature higher than 100°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set to -40°C. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 60V. A photodiode must be operated at 1.2V to carry current. When the photodiodes were operated in reverse bias, they would supply the voltage 60V. In the absence of light input, the photodiode exhibits a current of 1nA.
