A maximum operating temperature of 125°C ensures that NTC thermistors can operate reliably. An NTC thermistor can operate reliably at temperatures as low as -40°C. These NTC thermistors have a total of 2 terminations. To make NTC thermistors work, the 2 pins must be connected. Power dissipation of 0.015W can be absorbed by the electronic component. It is possible to operate the NTC thermistors at a maximum current of 200μA without too much degradation of the fuse elements.
