A NTC thermistor comes in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. In the 1205 (3215 Metric), Convex package, it is included as a convenience. In order for NTC thermistors to operate, the resistance tolerance must be ±5%. A temperature setting of -40°C~125°C is required to ensure reliable performance of NTC thermistors. Temperatures below 125°C allow NTC thermistors to operate reliably. For reliability, NTC thermistors can operate at a minimum temperature of -40°C.
