A NTC thermistor comes in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. This is included in package 0402 (1005 Metric) for your convenience. A NTC thermistor's resistance tolerance is ±10% in order to work. Set NTC thermistors to -40°C~125°C for reliable performance. Temperatures above 125°C allow NTC thermistors to operate reliably. In order to ensure reliability, NTC thermistors should operate at -40°C as low as possible. The NTC thermistors will not function properly unless the 2 pins are connected.
