NTC thermistors are required to have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to function. In order to ensure reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~150°C. A total of 2 terminations is present on these NTC thermistors. As a prerequisite for the NTC thermistors to function properly, the 2 pins must be connected. Thermistors manufactured by NTC are capable of dissipating a maximum of 210mW of power.
