NTC thermistors comes in the package of a Tape & Reel (TR). The 0402 (1005 Metric) package includes it for convenience. In order for NTC thermistors to operate, the resistance tolerance must be ±3%. To ensure reliable performance, the temperature of NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C. NTC thermistors can operate reliably at 125°C because of their maximum operating temperature. In order to ensure reliability, NTC thermistors can be operated at a minimum temperature of -40°C. In a NTC thermistor, the maximum power is set to 100mW. There is a maximum power dissipation of 35mW during the operation of NTC thermistors.
