NTC thermistors are required to have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to function. It is recommended that NTC thermistors be set at -40°C~125°C to ensure reliable performance. NTC thermistors work reliably at 125°C as their maximum operating temperature. In order to keep their reliability up, NTC thermistors can operate at -40°C.
