NTC thermistors are packaged as a Tape & Reel (TR). In order to make it more convenient, it has been included in the package 0805 (2012 Metric). A NTC thermistor must have a resistance tolerance of ±5% in order to operate. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C. NTC thermistors can operate reliably at 125°C because of their maximum operating temperature. Thermistors featuring NTC technology can be operated at temperatures down to -40°C for reliability.
