It is included in Radial as a convenience. NTC thermistors are capable of reliable operation at a maximum operating temperature of 150°C. For reliability, NTC thermistors can operate at a minimum temperature of -55°C. A total of 2 terminations are on these NTC thermistors. The NTC thermistors will not function properly unless the 2 pins are connected. Electronic components are capable of absorbing power dissipation in the range 0.71W.
