Packaged with a Tape & Reel (TR) are NTC thermistors. In the 0603 (1608 Metric) package, it is included as a convenience. In order for NTC thermistors to operate, the resistance tolerance must be ±5%. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -40°C~125°C. Total number of terminations on these NTC thermometers is 2. To make an NTC thermistor work properly, it needs to have the 2 pins connected. 0.1W of power can be absorbed by the electronic component. NTC thermistors have a maximum power dissipation of 100mW. It is possible to use NTC thermistors with a maximum current of 140μA without deteriorating the fuse element too much.
