There is a package of a Tape & Reel (TR) in which NTC thermistors can be found. The 0402 (1005 Metric) package contains it for your convenience. When using NTC thermistors, the resistance tolerance must be ±5%. If you wish to ensure reliable performance, you should set the temperature of NTC thermistors to -40°C~125°C. A total of 2 terminations are provided on these NTC thermistors. As a prerequisite for the NTC thermistors to function properly, the 2 pins must be connected. It is able to absorb power dissipation from 0.1W. The NTC thermistor is capable of dissipating a maximum of 100mW to operate. NTC thermistors can operate at 460μA without much degeneration of the fuse elements.
