The maximum operating temperature of 125°C allows for reliable operation of NTC thermistors. For reliability, NTC thermistors may be operated at a temperature of -40°C. There are 2 terminations on these NTC thermistors. As a prerequisite for the NTC thermistors to function properly, the 2 pins must be connected. NTC thermistors are capable of carrying a maximum current of 9.5mA without deteriorating excessively.
