NTC thermistors comes in the package of a Tape & Reel (TR). It's in the 1206 (3216 Metric) package for convenience. As a result, NTC thermistors need to have a resistance tolerance of ±5%. A temperature setting of -55°C~150°C is required to ensure reliable performance of NTC thermistors. These NTC thermistors have a total of 2 terminations. NTC thermistors must have their 2 pins connected in order to function properly. Thermal NTC switches are capable of dissipating up to 240mW of power.
