NTC thermistors comes in the package of a Tape & Reel (TR). The package 1206 (3216 Metric) includes it for convenience. When using NTC thermistors, the resistance tolerance must be ±10%. In order to ensure reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~150°C. A total of 2 terminations is present on these NTC thermistors. To make the NTC thermistor operate properly, the 0 pins need to be connected together. An NTC thermistor can dissipate a maximum of 240mW.
