A NTC thermistor comes in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. 0805 (2012 Metric) includes it for your convenience. To make NTC thermistors work the resistance tolerance must be ±10%. For reliable performance, NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~150°C. NTC thermistors have a total of 2 terminals. It is necessary to connect the 2 pins to the NTC thermistors for them to function properly. Temperature sensors are capable of dissipating a maximum of 120mW of power.
