Thermistors manufactured by NTC are packaged as Tape & Reel (TR). The 0603 (1608 Metric) package includes it for convenience. Typical resistance tolerances for NTC thermistors are ±10%. To ensure reliable performance, the temperature of NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~150°C. There are 2 terminations on these NTC thermistors. The NTC thermistors will not function properly unless the 2 pins are connected. A component of the electronic system is capable of absorbing power dissipation of 0.07W. It is possible for NTC thermistors to operate at a maximum power dissipation of 70mW.
