A 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and a Digital Motion ProcessorTM (DMP) are all included in the compact 3x3x0.9mm MPU-6500 6-axis MotionTracking device. Additionally, it has a 4096-byte FIFO, which enables the system CPU to read sensor data in bursts before switching to a low-power mode to reduce power consumption and lower traffic on the serial bus interface. The MPU-6500 immediately accepts inputs from external I2C devices thanks to its dedicated I2C sensor bus.
