MINISMDC150F/24 Overview
A SMD/SMT package is used to protect the PTC thermistors from damage. PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape as a safety measure. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. In order for this thermistor to operate properly, the operating temperature cannot exceed 85°C. 2 terminations are present on the PTC thermistor. If the PTC thermistors were to operate, 24V voltage could be supplied. DC circuits use thermistors rated at 24V voltage. A PTC thermistor should produce 1W heat. It is not recommended that PTC thermistors operate above 20A current. Those thermistors have been rated 24V for the DC circuit.
