MINISMDC020-2 Overview
PTC thermistors are packaged in 1812 packages to prevent damage. To ensure that the PTC thermistors operate at the minimum temperature, set the temperature to -40°C. This thermistor must not operate above 85°C in order for it to work. PTC thermometers have 2 terminations. PTC thermistors could operate at 30V voltages. The current for which the PTC thermistors have been designed is 10A. As a result of PTC thermistors producing 0.6W heat, they have been rated as 0.6W. It is not recommended that PTC thermistors operate above 10A current.
