MICROSMD005F Overview
Into SMD/SMT packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. A PTC thermistor should be operated at a minimum operating temperature of -40°C. There must not be an increase in temperature above 85°C for this thermistor to work. PTC thermistors have terminations of 2. While operating, the PTC thermistors could output 30V voltage. In the DC circuit, these thermistors are rated for 30V. It is expected that PTC thermistors produce 1W heat.
