A NTC thermistor comes in a Bulk package. In the Bead, Glass package, it is included as a convenience. As a result, NTC thermistors need to have a resistance tolerance of ±1%. NTC thermistors should be set to -20°C~250°C temperature in order to provide reliable performance. Temperatures above 250°C allow NTC thermistors to operate reliably. In order to ensure reliability, NTC thermistors should operate at -20°C as low as possible.
